Annelie is an international colour expert with over 20 years experience. You will find her running educational courses for hairdressers, working on shoots as well as advertising campaigns across the globe when she is not in the salon.
She is known for her honesty and down to earth approach. Her ability to transform hair through her colour expertise and perfect techniques make Annelie a real favourite with clients.
Oliver trained extensively with brands such as Bumble & Bumble, Phytologie Davines and L'Oreal. Oliver was selected to attend Loreal’s Colour Specialise Degree Course and passed with flying colours.
Having spent 7 years at a top salon, with clients including world renowned DJ John Digweed and clothes designer Karen Millen, Oliver reached the 'Oreal Colour Trophy finals twice and brings a wealth of colour experience to Taylor Taylor London.
Amy is an award winning colourist who spent the first part of her career training in both Canada and the United States with brands such as Wella, Davines and Tigi. As a fully qualified Master Colourist she achieved a phenomenal second place in the 2006 Canada Colour Awards, but had already won other colour awards including Canada’s ‘Total Look’ sponsored by Davines.
Wella has showcased Amy’s work in their international magazines and whilst in North America, she assisted back stage for World-renowned Creative Directors-Anthony Mascolo and Tim Hartley.
More recently, Amy has trained with Chris Williams the ‘UK Colourist of the Year’ and credits him for her extensive knowledge in colour theory and her ability to take photographic images and make them salon viable.
Having fallen head over heals in love with London and after living in the city for the last five years we don’t think we will loose her back to Canada. Amy was recently mentioned in an article about Taylor Taylor London in Tatler Magazine's Hair List, a list of London's best hair salons.
Anna was always destined to become a hairdresser with a family pedigree of editorial Stylists based in both Australia and London. With over 10 years experience she originally trained in New Zealand’s top Salon “Bouy”. During her career she has worked on music videos, feature films, and television shows as well as being a regular behind the scenes at fashion shoots and catwalk shows.
However Anna’s real passion is her Salon based work and since she moved to the UK and joined Taylor Taylor London over six years ago she has become one of our busiest Stylists with a fiercely loyal clientele.
Invariably assisted by her loyal Pugalier George (he has his own spot in the Salon, or he will happily snuggle up on your lap if invited).
Anna is a uniquely talented hair stylist. As a fully trained make up artist she has a particular gift in creating the perfect hair colour to complement your skin tone which, when combined with her cutting and finishing skills has lead to her well respected position as Art Director at our Shoreditch Salon.
Federico is at the heart of the Taylor Taylor London team and is one of our most experienced and respected hairdressers. With over 20 years in hairdressing he has been educated and trained at some of the world’s most respected academies and salons.
Hair great's such as Eugene Souleiman, James Rowe, Mark Hampton and Martin Cullen call upon Federico’s talent to assist during some of International Fashion Week’s most coveted shows - ACNE, Yohji Yamamoto, Vivienne Westwood, Marni, JW Anderson and Gareth Pugh amongst many others.
When not in the salon his independent work for campaigns and editorials encompasses assignments for Matthew Williamson, Volt Café and The Financial Times.
On salon appointments Federico is known for his undivided attention to detail; whether it be colour, cutting or styling he will help to develop a personalised hair experience just for you.
Federico is also the Floor Manager in our Flagship Salon and is instrumental in ensuring the standards of all the stylists and colourists at Taylor Taylor meet his exceptionally high requirements.
Born in Northern Ireland, Anna qualified and worked as a stylist in Belfast City. It wasn't long before she realised London is where she needed to be, starting work in a award winning salon group she quickly progressed throughout the stylist levels to consultant after only two years.
"Getting a job with Taylor Taylor has definitely been a highlight in my career over the past 10 years, the inspirational team, fabulous salon and total brand image was just the change I was looking for, the bonus - being offered the opportunity to move to the Maldives and manage The One & Only Hair Salon by Taylor Taylor London.
Four months in paradise enabled me to grow in both a professional and personal way, meeting people from all around the world and promoting Taylor Taylor from the other side of the world was a great working holiday but London was never far from my mind, now I'm back settling in and my focus is my clientele.
Ben grew up in France and started his hairdressing career in the exclusive Alpine resorts, mixing his love of extreme sports with his passion for style.
Ben joined us with almost ten years experience - having spent the past couple of years in London refining his skills at boutique salons and on numerous courses, including those by L'Oréal, Tigi, and Toni and Guy.
Ben has a passion for precision haircuts, with particular expertise in blunt cuts, as he feels that they “bring out a strong character in people, whilst remaining très chic!”. Ben also loves working on men's fades as “It’s like drawing with pencil”, and balayage as “it’s French!”.
His work has been getting a lot of attention, and Ben recently worked on set with Storm Models. Ben is not afraid to take risks and to put his personality into his work, which produces exceptional outcomes - we are very excited to have him on the team and to see what the future will bring for his career.
Rory has a reputation for unique and contemporary interpretations of established looks, for which he was commended for when he won the Schwarzkopf Graduate Award in 2010.
Rory is one of our most established and popular stylists in the salon with over 8 years hairdressing experience and a continued passion to create new and fresh styles for his loyal clients.
Educated in Italy and London by Aldo Coppola and Toni & Guy, Francesca has 13 years of hairdressing experience. Involved for the past few years as a part of the assisting team at London Fashion Week for International Brand Show’s she keeps her Fashion passion current and on trend.
Francesca is fluent in sophisticated colour changes and natural looks. With outstanding customer service skills she has a true eye for detail.
Meghan is our native New Yorker in London and has an incredible CV including a degree in cosmetology, advanced make-up, mens grooming, and of course exceptional cutting and colouring.
With over ten years experience behind the chair her unique skill has brought a new dimension to our team as her eye for style and in particular colour allows her to work closely with you to develop a perfectly tailored style.
Meghans list of commercial and editorial work is staggering with experience in film, television, magazines and high fashion. Her list of celebrity clients includes names such as Gigi Hadid, Jourdan Dunn, Helena Christensen and Uma Thurman.
A regular at New York Fashion Week Meghan has styled the runway looks for Lanvin, DKNY, H&M, Alexander Wang and J Crew and most recently Fyodor Golan in London.
Meghan is as comfortable on editorial hair shoots with Teen Vogue or The Sunday Times as she is with her commercial work for American giants such as Bloomingdales and Abercrombie and Fitch.
Chie is one of a prestigious group of hair stylists who have claimed the title of Best International Hairdresser from the AIPP (Association Internationale Presse Professionnelle Coiffure).
Chie’s career began in Japan over 20 years ago before moving to London to join Toni & Guy where she was a member of the renowned Artistic Team and was crowned Avante Garde Hairdresser of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards in 2014/ 15. Hosting seminars across the globe, running her own shows at London fashion week and working for the likes of Elle and Shortlist Chie has achieved international recognition for her work and we are privileged to have her heading up our education team.
In 2009 Elsa joined our Commercial Street salon where she swiftly proved her technical ability and progressed to Art Director. During her tenure at Taylor Taylor Elsa’s career has gone from strength to strength and she has shown natural excellence in all the hairdressing disciplines from salon to catwalk to editorial assignments.
Over the past few years she has been fortunate enough to support leading international session stylists such as Eugene Souleiman, Martin Cullen and Duffy at the ‘Fashion Week's across the world, showcasing some of the world’s most infuential fashion brands such as Gareth Pugh, Joseph and Antonio Berardi. In Elsas own words Elsa “The exposure at the height of the industries professionalism has given me an opportunity to perform in an implausibly pressured environment and deliver on end result, which can be nothing less than perfect. This has without doubt shaped and influenced my career and the person I am today”.
Alongside Elsa’s busy salon column and her session commitments, she is also part of the management team at Taylor Taylor London and jointly heads up the Art Team which promotes the salon’s strong technical and creative reputation. This role involves delivering the in-house collections, organizing editorial and commercial assignments and preparing bespoke articles for international publications and helping others realizes their potential through external Seminars and in-house workshops.
Antonio has over fifteen years of experience cutting and styling hair for London's top hair salon's, magazines and brand's such as, iD, Dazed and Numero to name but a few.
Zara began cutting hair in her studio whilst studying sculpture at Camberwell School of Art. By chance whilst working for a set designer building props she met some of the team at Vidal Sassoon's Academy on Brook Street. Inspired by the people she met she enrolled in an intensive course to learn the trade through the technically strict Sassoon philosophy of cutting.
Now a Art Director at Taylor Taylor London, Zara is an exceptionally talented yet softly spoken technical specialist with an incredibly loyal client list who will go no-where else for their cuts and styling. She applies the same attention to detail in her hairdressing as she does with her approach to art.
Zara is a regular on the Taylor Taylor London Artistic Team and has worked on Guido Palau's team on the men's shows across Europe for the last 4 seasons.
Her resume includes designers such as Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Jil Sander, Dolce & Gabanna, Bottega Veneta, Valentino, Versace, Raf Simons and Prada. She also assists Jos Gibson and worked on editorials for GQ Style, Sunday Times Magazine and Vogue Hommes as well as her own work for OKI-Ni and Law Magazine. Driven by perfection and quality, she knows how to push a good haircut to a great one; from high street to bespoke.
John Paul started his hairdressing career at HOB Salon's Flagship Salon and International Academy in Camden town. He completed all the training in under two years and went on to be Head Assistant of the Academy and Assistant to Creative Director and British Hairdresser of the Year - Akin Konizi where he assisted on many of the award winning shoots from 2007 - 2009.
After leaving HOB Salons John Paul spent time working at Radio Hair London (Bumble & Bumble Flagship), as well as working free lance on photo shoots, seminars and fashion shows. His work got him attention for the likes of a world renowned New York based artist agency, and has had him assisting hairdressers on shoots for hair legends such as Esther Langham, Javier, Orlando Pita and Guido Palau.
John Paul has now been assisting Guido Palau regularly for over 3 years, regarded as one of the greatest ever hair artists. His clients include Acne, Burberry, Dolce & Gabanna, D&G, Balenciaga, Raf Simmons, Ports1961, Prada, Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Giles, Versace, YSL, Carolina Herrera, Bottega Venetta, Jil Sander, Costume, Valentino, Lanvin and last but not least Tom Ford.
His editorial and campaign work is just as impressive with his portfolio spanning album covers for the likes of Professor Green , magazine work with Seventh Man alongside commercials with Burberry, Dunhill, Jaeger and Top Man.
Kasia moved to London in 2001 and immediately fell in love with the people and the lifestyle of the city. London in turn had inspired her to take a new direction in her career. After training in fashion and make up she moved to the Toni and Guy Academy where she qualified as a hairdresser in just 18 months. After her graduation she quickly progressed to work on the Toni & Guy creative team assisting some of the most influential session stylists on fashion shoots and hair shows for the likes of Margaret Howell, Peter Jensen, and Christopher Kane.
Kasia believes in the unique natural beauty and texture of hair. Using her expertise in technical and precision cutting Kasia prides herself on the trust she builds with her clients and her ability to create a look that truly works for each individual.
When Kasia is not in the Salon she pursues her interests in all things related to sound and can usually be found in her recording studio experimenting with music and sound. She is already an established DJ playing her records at many venues throughout Europe.
Originally from South Korea, Sonya was inspired to become a hairdresser through a close family member. Trained at Vidal Sassoon, she studied the essential foundations of cutting, colouring and the science of hairdressing. Her personal passion was hairdressing and hairstyling and she dedicated herself to this solely. Working backstage in the fashion industry at numerous photo-shoots and shows, her highlight is the Lualla show in London Fashion Week. In her spare time she enjoys organizing her own charity events, called Rewind Time. These are events that celebrate fashion and music through the decades in venues around London, including vintage hair and makeup. Proceeds from this event are sent to a charity to help children, vulnerable and abandoned by their families in Thailand.
Originally from Bath, Gemma has been working at Taylor Taylor since 2011, having been in the industry for 14 years. During her time in Bath Gemma became qualified and very quickly worked her way up to becoming the senior stylist. In 2010 she went on to enter herself into the British hairdressing awards, the most prestigious hairdressing competition in the industry, and became a finalist. It was after this that she realised her passion for session styling and made the move to London.
During her time in London she has worked on the Olympic Coca Cola advert featuring Mark Ronson and Katy B, she has also worked on London Fashion Week styling for Eddie Gavrillidis for his latest collection and most recently worked with Little Mix on various projects including their latest music video.
It would be hard to beat the passion that Tosh demonstrates for hair. After a career change in his 20’s Tosh has pretty much dedicated his life to hairdressing, both within and outside the salon. Leaving his native Scotland behind him Tosh trained at the world famous Toni and Guy Academy in London graduating as a Stylist back in 2012. Since then his career has truly taken off winning awards such as “Stylist of the Year” and “Breakthrough Team of the Year in 2015”. When he was not in the salon Tosh spent all his spare time developing his reputation in the industry. Working on editorial, commercial and catwalk assignments he has assisted hair greats such as James Pecis, Guido Palau, Duffy and Anthony Turner on shoots for magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Love and Numero and has now become a regular on the backstage teams in Paris, Milan, New York and London.
With a tenure at the rather chic Scandinavian hair salon Stil under his belt and a rapidly growing portfolio of his own work Tosh joined the Taylor Taylor London team in 2016 where he splits his time between our Commercial Street salon and his hair assignments across the globe.
We love that Rachel describes herself as a “self confessed hair geek” with an enormous passion to share her knowledge and push the very boundaries of hairdressing.
Her career began in 2003 with a desire to see what really happens behind the scenes on the fashion shoots for Vogue and on the catwalks of the international fashion shows. Rachel ‘s drive and creativity has meant that her work has already been published across the world and she has headed up her very own shows at London Fashion Week.
Rachel is Internationally acclaimed for her work in both hair-up and braiding and for her truly inspiring work in Avante Garde hairdressing. She regularly travels around the world on assignments to teach her hairdressing techniques and showcase her own hair collections to ohers.
We are privileged that Rachel has chosen us for her London salon and despite her obvious success you will find her passionate, creative and refreshingly humble.
Scott joined us after 11 years experience at Toni & Guy where his commitment and passion rewarded him with an established position on their exclusive Art and Education teams. His experience and technical ability has regularly taken him overseas to work in front of large audiences on international hairdressing seminars and shows.
He is an established member of the team for Anthony Turner and Sam McKnight and already has styling for the catwalk at legendary design house Chanel Couture Paris under his belt. A recognised mens specialist Scott has contributed to collections in London, Paris and Milan he has styled the hair for the likes of Dior Homme, D-Squared Anne Demeulemester.
His passion for hair has led him to international industry recognition and he has reached the finals of the prestigious British Hairdressing Awards for the last three years in a row as both Newcomer of the Year and Avante Garde Hairdresser of the Year. His adaptability and love for hairdressing has meant that his editorial work has already been published in magazines as varied as Marie Claire, Love, French Vogue and RollaCoaster.
Recently returned from working in Asia Nick is a young and exciting stylist with a real obsession with hairdressing.
Nick cut his hairdressing teeth in a small boutique in Birmingham and after qualifying was immediately in demand from a growing and dedicated client base.With a love for editorial hair he was snapped up to style the hair for the Harvey Nichols catwalk shows and won Style Birmingham back in 2009.
Nick continued to train with both Sassoon and Toni & Guy and with his appointment onto the much sought after Wella Professional “Mobster” team his talent was soon spotted.
When he was offered the opportunity to work with Art Director David Mercer in South East Asia Nick packed his scissors to join the salon team based in Bali. During his time overseas Nick travelled extensively around Asia assisting David with seminars and campaign shoots for L’Oreal as well as hosting his own academy courses in Malaysia and styling for both presenters and models on Asian TV.
Nick is now back in the UK and working at the heart of London Fashion assisting international hairstylist Karin Bigler. We are delighted that he is bringing us his international experience and that he has chosen Taylor Taylor as his London salon.

Claire's natural talent for cutting and styling hair alongside her boundless amounts of energy and love ensures that everyone who sits in her chair is immediately at ease in the salon. Her ability to listen and understand each of her clients needs helps her to focus on those areas where care and advice is needed. Her passion for salon work lies in transformative restyles and the challenge of curly and men’s hair.
Outside the salon she is recognised for her contribution to both the commercial and editorial world of hairdressing and with 13 years under her belt you will have seen her work across all the media and fashion channels. From British Vogue and London Fashion Week to countless X factor episodes and even styling in the extreme conditions of The Jump!
Claire has also undergone McMillan training and combined with her skill at cutting wigs this has enabled her to fully support clients throughout the stages of chemotherapy.
And if all that wasn’t enough she is also fluent in Spanish too.
Tassia is one of the few hairdressers that can say her career is truly international. From the fashion and beauty brands of Chanel, Balmian, Dior, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Charlotte Tilbury and Valentino to the new celebrity icons such as Kendall Jenner, Rita Ora and Gigi Hadid Tassia has quite literally travelled the world with scissors, comb and kit bag.
Trained at Vidal Sassoon Tassia has already been a double finalist in the Loreal Colour Trophy, the Rising Star award for Creative Head and was a member of Project X fellowship of hairdressing.
More recently her residency at Nevilles hair salon in both London and Greece and her time at Kennaland in New York has complemented her regular fashion week assignments with hair greats such as Sam Mcknight and Guido Paulo and her campaigns for Burberry, Vogue and Elle.
We are delighted that Tassia has chosen Taylor Taylor as her London base and her ability to translate the latest trends into truly wearable styles for the individual is second to none.
In his own words Simon is “Not a Hairdressers Hairdresser” but his passion for hair is immediately evident in his incredible career which has already led him to the finals of British Mens Hairdresser of the Year for two consecutive years, international recognition for his work on both the fashion catwalk and numerous editorial pieces in magazines and commercials.
Simon started his hairdressing career at 17 and despite being signed as a drummer for a small band on an independent label at 19 his passion for hair lead him back to Toni and Guy where he worked in Birmingham and most recently at their flagship salon in London where he also gained a prized position on their world famous education team.
Simon is already an established member of the hair teams led by Anthony Turner, Gary Gill, Duffy and Martin Cullen his work on both the mens and womens catwalk is extensive spanning collections such as Dior Homme, Rick Owens, Kenzo, Thom Browne, Erdem, Nina Ricci, Peter Pilotto, Proenza Schouler, Topshop Unique , JW Anderson, Yohji Yamamoto, Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester, Chris Raeburn and Versus Versace.
His commercial and editorial work is no less impressive heading his own styling team for retailers such as Zara online, ASOS and Clements & Church and publications such as Notion, Noctis and Candid whilst also assisting on the iconic magazines Love and Wonderland.
We have stolen Tom from the North of England where he served a traditional hairdressing apprenticeship. From the age of just 13 Tom started working in his spare time while still at school and under the mantle of Mark Riley completed his advanced apprenticeship and rapidly established himself as a senior stylist.
In 2012 Tom won the much coveted title of “ Project X Student of the Year” from the Fellowship for British Hairdressing . Often called the ultimate hairdressing finishing school, Project X aims to select and nurture the very best hairdressing talent in the UK with mentors such as Karine Jackson and hairdressing legend Errol Douglas MBE.
Tom is already a regular behind the scenes at London, Paris and Milan fashions week working with international stylists such as Snowden Hill, John Vial and Jan Przemyk. In a short space of time he has also established himself a regular member of the hair team for Anthony Turner working on the womens catwalk for fashion greats such as Kenzo, Missoni, Sportmax, Margaret Howell, TopShop and Peter Pilotto.
Tom is no stranger to the menswear collections either playing a key role in the styling of iconic mens designers such as Dior Homme, Iceberg and Thom Browne as well as directional designers Sibling, Craig Green, KTZ , Christopher Shannon
Tom was invited to head up the new collection by cult brand A Child of the Jago and his hair styling can be seen in their seasons LookBook.
Over the last few months Tom has been a finalist in the coveted It List Awards sponsored by Creative Head Magazine and has assisted Samantha Hillerby on shoots for Vogue, Rimmel and Thomas Sabo.
Emily has quite literally taken her scissors around the world covering India, Asia and Africa before returning home to Europe.
With an exceptional knowledge of cultures, countries and hairstyles Emily graduated in 2013 but has already established herself with television work for iconic programmes such as Strictly Come Dancing and the National Television Awards.
With a reputation for her attention to detail she is also known for her ability to create both intricate and distinctive styles for bridal hair and special events and is in high demand for her editorial styling and session work for London Fashion Week.
Originally from Romania, Mihaela decided to leave her university degree course and moved to London where she discovered her passion for hair and completed her NVQ level 3 in hairdressing. Mihaela joined Taylor Taylor London in November 2009 when she fell in love with the clients and the hairdressing creativity in our original boutique hair salon just off Brick Lane in Shoreditch.
During her time with us Mihaela has worked in our flagship Shoreditch hair salon as our head assistant recognizing the excellence of the junior hairdressing team and helping them achieve their potential. She has personally looked after many of our high profile celebrities such as Lewis Hamilton, Greg Rutherford, members of the Game of Thrones cast and Pixie Lott as well as assisting our Art Directors on their photographic assignments. Mihaela is a vital member of our team with an exceptionally strong work ethic and an inspiring customer service record.
We are delighted that Mihaela has now taken her chair on our styling team after graduating from the Taylor Taylor London Hairdressing Academy in August 2015.
Pranee may be petite in stature but she has a monumental work ethic and inspiring customer service record. Originally starting with us as a hairdressing assistant Pranee has been a key member of the Taylor Taylor team for nearly ten years now and knows the salons better than anyone else.
Working her way up through the business and training under the watchful eye of our Education Managers has given Pranee a unique understanding of our clients and she has already established a firm following in the salon.. Known for her game changing Brazilian Blowdries and Yuko permanent straightening Pranee has a gentle and relaxing manner and is comfortable creating a highly technical cut on short hair through to a full Hollywood blowdry on full length locks.
