A multiple British Hairdressing Awards finalist and recipient of the highly coveted Colour World "Innovative Colour Genius” award Marcus has influenced colourists worldwide through his global education and creative direction. Highly skilled in tailoring his formulas with precision and artistry he is known for the creation of luminous blondes, rich brunettes, expressive coppers as well as more directional, editorial palettes.

His work is defined by intention, craft and a flawless finish and we are honoured that he has chosen Taylor Taylor as his London home where our clients will be able to experience his deeply bespoke approach to the colour experience.

Trained under some of the best colourists in London Ocean is one of our most recent colour graduates and has already developed quite a following for his quiet, caring and honest approach with all of his clients.

Ocean’s love for the craft is rooted in the emotional impact of his work, nothing brings him more joy than seeing a client’s confidence blossom after a colour transformation. Deeply inspired by the diversity of our hair community, he embraces the uniqueness of every individual who sits in his chair, creating results that are as personal as they are beautiful.

I came into the world of hair a little later than most, it was something I’d always dreamed of, so at 30 I took the plunge and haven’t looked back. Helping people feel more confident, refreshed, and fabulous is what attracted me to this career and continues to inspire me every day.

I was always drawn to colour for its creativity and versatility and the way different techniques can totally transform a look. From soft, lived-in balayage to bold, statement panelling, I love working with clients to create something truly personal to them.

Having life experience behind me, I bring a real passion for people and a genuine love for what I do. My aim is to deliver not just beautiful colour, but a great overall experience too. When I’m not in the salon, you’ll find me doing yoga, exploring National Trust treasures, or soaking up nature.

One of our most iconic stylists Zoe is globally recognised for her incredible technical knowledge and creative vision. She has worked with Taylor Taylor London since 2010 and was an original member of our international salon team working with partners such as The One & Only Resorts overseas as well as developing her much loved client base within our Portobello Road salon. Her work is regularly published worldwide and she personally represents leading hair brands such as Brazilian Bond Builder Uk and Selective Professional Italy. Leading their commercial and editorial campaigns helps keep her knowledge on the latest trends in both colour, styling and haircare ahead of the field.

With a celebrity client base that most PR’s would dream of Zoe is in exceptional demand but she still remains one of the most down to earth (and impossibly glamorous) stylists that we have in the salon. You will be in the very best of hands.

Marianne’s journey started in Sweden back in 2009 where she has been trained at the renowned Milnergymnasiet in both cutting and colouring. Within just three years she went on to win Swedish Hairdresser of the Year 2012 in the Young Talent category. She specialises in both colouring and cutting with her particular passions focussing on the latest blonde colour techniques and the precision cutting of gent’s hair. During her time with Taylor Taylor London she has worked in our West London salon and also further a field in our acclaimed salon within the One & Only resort. Many of her clients discovered her talents whilst she was working out in the Maldives and still regularly fly in to see her in our Notting Hill location.

Marianne believes in the unique, natural beauty and texture of hair and continuously looks to expand her knowledge and skill base. In 2017 she successfully completed her Master Colour Programme with Wella, a certificate that only a handful of colourists ever achieve.

With over 20 years experience, Hannah has a fiercely loyal following and is celebrated for her natural talent, creative vision, and incredibly warm, welcoming approach. Many say she has an almost magical touch with hair, blending her technical expertise with an intuitive eye for style.

Always passionate about learning, Hannah stays ahead of the latest colouring and styling techniques creating her unique style from a perfect balance of salon expertise alongside collaborations with other creative professionals, ensuring every client leaves feeling like the very best version of themselves.

Beyond the salon, Hannah’s career spans the music, television, and fashion industries. She is a regular stylist at London and Paris Fashion Weeks whilst her editorial work includes The Sunday Times, Condé Nast Traveller and Glasshouse Magazine. Some of her celebrity clients include Lily Cole, Orlando Bloom, and Michelle Dockery and she has even brought her artistry to music videos for James Morrison.

Nicola is a born and bred north Londoner with 21 years of experience in the hairdressing industry. She began her career as an apprentice in the West End where she also qualified. Since then she has worked for serval award winning salons in London and has become a senior stylist and senior colour technician. Nicola is certified in a wide range of colour and product lines. Her high standards of colours and cuts led her to build a very happy and loyal clientele.

With a reputation for creating luminous, bespoke hues Maria is an award recognised colour specialist who has that perfect blend of technical precision and artistic vision. Crucially her creative excellence never comes at the expense of hair health and her advanced techniques allow her to deliver impressive results while strictly prioritising the integrity and vitality of the hair.

Renowned for her mastery of balayage, blonding and highlighting Maria specialises in "lived-in" styles that feel effortless and entirely luxurious. From sun-kissed, multi-dimensional blondes to bold, transformative colour shifts, her work is always meticulously tailored to complement the individual style and skin tone of her clients. With a warm, intuitive approach and a keen eye for evolving trends, Maria is a perfect choice for those seeking a hair journey that is as personalised as it is professional.

Sarah Jane was originally a beauty therapist but quickly discovered that she had a greater love for hairdressing and in particular cutting. In 2008 she began her new career and within 6 years she had a meteoric rise from Junior Assistant right through to Assistant Manager of a West London hair salon. Apart from her natural skill with a pair of scissors Sarah’s rapid rise was down to her single minded passion for hairdressing and she often quotes the ability to truly change someone’s day, week or year with a fresh cut as the prime motivation for her work.

With a diploma in mens cutting combined with 6 years experience in high glamour blowdries and hair treatments Sarah brings an incredibly versatile range of hairdressing skills to Taylor Taylor London. Out of the Salon, Sarah has worked on hair for the closing ceremony for the Olympics and assisted on British Hairdressing shoots but her real passion is working within the salon environment and creating wearable styles for real people.

Sarah prides herself on providing every client with an outstanding service and her experience on both hair and beauty Sarah has a unique understanding about what styles and shapes best suit the individual and as a result she is in high demand in our Portobello Road Salon.

Lynne is a promising hairdresser and an expert in braiding. She is a perfectionist at her craft and has been extremely passionate about hairdressing since she can remember experimenting on friends, family members and herself early in life.

Her training began at a hair college where she was accredited an NVQ in Hairdressing. She has won various competitions and was able to showcase her abilities, before moving on to assist on photoshoots, music videos and fashion shows where she gained attention for her talent.

Since being at Taylor Taylor Lynne has developed through the ranks to be one of the most polished stylists we have. With a prodigious work ethic and sharp skills, she has graduated onto the salon floor. Still in the early stages of her career she continues to find new ways to express her creative personality through hair with unique styles and designs. All while keeping a smile on the clients face.

Julie very much prides herself on catering to the needs and desires of her clients and has been devoted to hairdressing ever since she began cutting for family and friends from the young age of 14.

Her passionate and determined work ethic saw Julie work her way up from hairdressing assistant on to the cutting floor where she has spent many hours perfecting her skills on a broad range of hair types; from fine hair to afro and everything in between. In particular she is an expert in layers, braids and french plaits for everyday wear as well as elaborate up-do’s for a wedding day or special event. Still a young stylist her blow dries are already legendary and in her spare time she has won several hairdressing competitions whilst also being in demand to assist on numerous styling shoots.

Julie promises to take the time to understand exactly what each client wants with detailed consultations and attention to detail, while her infectious personality will ensure they leave the chair feeling confident and positive.

“Braiding is my absolute passion”. Emma has been braiding since she was a child and her expertise is already recognised across the hairdressing world.

Her work has graced the front pages of British Vogue and Vogue Italia, she has created many looks at London Fashion Week and the British Fashion Awards and works with the likes of hair and make-up icons such as Syd Hayes and Lisa Eldridge.

Despite her success and her ability to braid and twist every hair type and texture you will find Emma one of the most humble stylists and we are delighted that she brings her skills to our Portobello Road salon.
