"People ask me what inspires me - life inspires me, it can can be the smallest things that you wouldn't take any notice of so keep your eyes open.
For me its all about looking unique, modern and sexy. I'm not very technical with my work I just go with the flow as an artist would, I don't do the same thing twice like any other form of art."
Mia is an exceptional young hairdresser and has been passionate about hairdressing since she first sat as a child styling her dolly head between her feet.
Her hairdressing career began at the internationally recognized Toni and Guy academy where she sailed through her formal qualifications. Mia was selected to assist on their Artistic Team assignments during fashion weeks and on regular hair photo-shoots where she was soon recognized for her natural talent for hair-up styling and braiding.
Mia finished her education with us at the Taylor Taylor London Academy and with her ability and determination graduated onto the salon floor in just one year. Mia’s love of hairdressing is infectious and if you fancy a knock-out braid for a special event then she is your girl.
I started hairdressing at university and quickly realized this was my passion, leaving at the end of my first year to attend a beginner’s course at Toni and Guy in Manchester. After that I moved to London and soon after, in 2014, joined Taylor Taylor. Through completing their education programme I’ve learnt a variety of techniques and also assisted in shoots, which is a side of hairdressing I still enjoy. However, my passion is based in the salon, working closely with clients to make sure that the cut and style is tailored to their individual needs.
